I’m just too tired of everything. I’m tired of being the person everyone wants and expects me to be. I’m tired of being strong all the time and putting up this facade that i’m happy and ok. I’m tired of doubting my self and blaming myself everytime things don’t work out. I’m tired of adjusting and putting others before myself. I’m tired of fighting this alone. I’m tired of making people like and understand me. I’m tired of hoping that everything will be ok. I’m just tired. Wish i could just stop and turn everything off for good..

I always get this feeling of emptyness in me. That feeling that wakes you up in the middle of the night. The kind of feeling where you suddenly feel sad without any reason. Sometimes you feel like you’re going crazy. You’re scared to open up to people even to those closest to you because you either don’t want them to pity you or you’re scared of what they’d think about you. It scares you everytime you feel that way. That feeling when you just want to cry without knowing why. That feeling as if you’re all alone no matter how many people tells you they’re there for you, you still feel empty inside. That feeling where in you want to scream everything out. Hoping that it’ll take all the pain away. But what scares you the most is not the thought of other people judging you. It’s that you yourself don’t even understand what’s going on with you either. And you want it to stop. You want the pain to stop. But everytime you try, it just gets worse. And you start to think that maybe they’re right. That you are crazy. That there’s something wrong with you. And that maybe everything and everyone would be better if you remove yourself from the picture.

It hurts when you always try to make other people your priority and adjust everything for them but they don’t do the same. Like maybe when the odds became favorable for them they would easily snap out and take it.

Halloooooo there loves! I know it has been decades and this blogpost is loooong due already. I think it’s been 2 years since i wrote this post and it’s been sitting in my drafts section for that long. I’m sorry i haven’t been my normal self lately, got overly lazy to finish this blogpost and i got busy with my internship and life itself. But hey, i’m back and i’d love to share with you guys my awesome experience with my friend Maine during our Quezon City hits for my “SEats” blog series. And for my first stop? I decided to ransack this quaint coffee place along Maginhawa Street called “Cafféra”.

image

Cafféra, is the first photography themed café in the country. How cool is that? And if you haven’t figured it out yet the term “Cafféra” which the owners  have came up with came from 2 different words “Café” and “Camera”.

Did you know that this cafe was only a thesis project and is owned by 3 College students? They said that at first the idea was just to put up this coffee shop for their thesis project but since they put in so much time and effort into this already they decided to keep it and run it as a fully functioning coffee shop. And well, they made the right decision.

image

So here are some of the photos I took inside Caffera. The place is not that big. Well I guess because they weren’t really planning on running it as an actual business at first that’s why they only got a small space for their thesis project.

image

Their counter and bar is kind of in one place. Which is nice  because it gives the guest an easy access they won’t need to go to two different areas just to order and claim their drinks.

image

Here are some of the decors they have inside. And when they said that they are the first photography themed cafe they really meant it. They can even freaking brag about it because when you look around the place you can see how much work and effort they put into their cafe just to justify and give their guest the awesome experience of dining in a photography themed cafe. Well just look at those decor especially those hanging camera lens inspired light and you be the judge.

So moving forward, here’s their Menu board. And i love their idea of not just putting photography inspired decorations all over their place but they just went over the top! If you look closely, they had the names of their drinks photography inspired as well. Like for their hot drinks they named it; X-PRO Espresso, Amaro Cano, Lomo Latte and Sierra mocha. Sounds familiar? Well those are Instagram filters which they combined with the flavor of their drinks! While for their cold drinks instead of calling it “Frappucino” they came up with their own unique name for it and they call it “Frapperture” how cool is that? :)

And if you think they stopped there, well for the sizes they didn’t settle for the usual. They also added a unique touch into it. For the smaller size they called it “Pixels” and for the bigger one it’s “Megapixel”.

image

So here’s what Maine and I ordered. I had their “Caramel Frapperture” while Maine got the “Chocodamia Frapperture” both in Megapixels. Well because the smaller size wouldn’t be enough for us. lol. And will you look at those dope camera lens cups! The owners really nailed it.

Aside from their drinks they also have pastries and desserts and here are some of the photos I took.

image

“Camera cake”  and one of their best sellers “Chocolate chip cookie s’mores”

and oh can i just say? i so love how they used the old film rolls as labels for their pastries! i mean c’mon, who wouldn’t?

More photos.

And lastly one of the best part of our experience at caffera was their free camera inspired cookies! Yes you read it right. Those cookies are free if you dine in.

That’s it!  Again, Thank you for dropping by my blog! I hope you guys had fun reading through my caffera experience. Check them out and try their drinks too and let me know what you think. Til’ my next post. Have a great day ahead loves!

Love, RF ❤️
